	Story Behind the Song My wife and I adopted two children, Samuel and Faith Amore. This song was written to honor the interim foster parents who cared for them after their birth until we were able to adopt them a few months later. Lyrics FOSTERING HOPE One man plants and another waters but it’s God who makes it grow. Sowing seeds into the lives of people for a harvest we may not know. We’re just fostering a little bit of hope in the life of a child. For God has chosen to reward our labor in a little baby’s smile. Jesus said “he who receives a child in my name receives me. And “what you’ve done to the least of these you have done also to me. As He opened up his heart and opened up His Father’s door We have opened up our home to give you peace and love galore.
