This song was written as a tribute to our first child lost in a miscarriage in the third month. We were to name her "Faith." We later adopted a little girl and named her Faith Amore. Anyone who lost a child in or near childbirth will feel this song. |

Story Behind the Song
As my wife lay in the bed next to me crying herself to sleep after a miscarriage and subsequent DNC, I rose from the bed at midnight and wrote this song to the child we lost three months into the pregnancy. We must go through our midnights to get to our mornings.
Lyrics
FAITH
Out of your mother’s womb you were taken
Without a chance to take a single breathe of air.
And in a moment’s time, oh you left us
Without a chance for us to show how much we care.
And though I never got to hear you call me daddy.
I know you’re with the Father of us all.
And though you never got to say “Mom, I Love You!”
When we get to heaven, we’ll be listening for your call.
Amid these silent tears, we still mourn you.
God only knows the emptiness that we feel.
And though we never got to touch or even see you,
You were a part of us, alive and so real.
And though I never got to hear you call me daddy.
I know you’re with the Father of us all.
And though you never got to say “Mom, I Love You!”
When we get to heaven, we’ll be listening for your call.
God will give joy for the pains that we feel
As He proves He’s faithful all along.
And you will always be our little baby.
And we’ll remember you through the words of this song.
And though I never got to hear you call me daddy.
I know you’re with the Father of us all.
And though you never got to say “Mom, I Love You!”
When we get to heaven, we’ll be listening for your call.
