	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song in 1998 and didn't record it until the fall of 2002. Orginally it was going to be played with 23L, but it never materialized. I wrote it my freshman year I was on Stage Crew at the time, and backstage there were steps that led outside. During scenes I sat on the 2nd step from the bottom and it was where I sat thinking alone. There was a green light that was at the top of the stairs so that if you had to go back there you wouldn't trip over anything. I was really depressed at that time in my life, but I made it through.
