	Story Behind the Song We were motivated to create RISE + SHINE in light of the 21st Century approaching... While humanity has become (arguably) more "civilized" over the last several thousand years, we have also learned to detach ourselves from one other as well as the outside world... "Left in the hands of deceptive politicians, social violence, pollution, poverty, and discrimination, what will the future of our people and our planet be? Many of us hope for a different future... a world era of peace. Evolution is approaching light speed... A new cognitive awareness has begun to breathe in the minds and hearts of humanity." We want to bring certain world wide concerns to light, but also make sure we're encouraging everybody to take action. We can't complain about thingswith out also remembering that we are part of the active solution- whether it's global, political or personal. RISE + SHINE, when you strip it down, is about hope.
