	Story Behind the Song A tip of the hat to my hometown of Bakersfields' country roots. Funny I hated country when I was a growing up. The song is simply about someone asking to be remembered after the bad memories fade away. I always' remember reading somewhere John Lennon saying in the late 1970's that he could not say that the Beatles wouldn't ever get back together, because as time goes by you only remember the good times, the bad times fade. That he was at a point were he remembered the good times of the band. This was also a Brian Jones was Murdered song, though the little guitar bit at the beginning and under the choruses did not come about until I did this recording.
