Dead Friends is a song that will blow your mind! The first thing you'll notice is that distinct female vocal that the rock world has been looking for.Next, you'll hear those clean notes that later take on a very dirty form in the chorus. The drums show patience only later to unleash, and the bass simply bumps. This song is a signature song for them. There is no other song like it.

    Story Behind the Song
This is an interesting story. One night while entertaining some friends Sullu and Spoonatic began jamming. One drink led to another and soon everyone in the basement busted out singing the band's name.So Spoonatic sat in a corner for about a 1/2 hour writing while Sullu put down a guitar track he had been working on.By the end of the night, they had some new material. The next day the two hung-over musicians went downstairs to listen to whatever it was they recorded and decided it was a keeper. They'd be taking this one to the studio.
2 years later after the complete band was formed,Dead Friends became song# 4 on their current demo taking approximately 8 hours from start to finish. The meaning of this song is simple, as long as there is love, there will also be dead friends.Whether it be in a physical sense, severed ties, and of course the death of the innocense of a child who has suffered abuse at the hands of the insane adult. This band speaks from experience and truly has the understanding of the unbearable, which pours from them into their music. This song is ni exception, and if you think this rocks on mp3,you should experience their energy live.

    Lyrics
Don't don't you know the rapture has come
time for everyone to run and go somewhere
    right now
but there's no where to go
and did'nt you know I'm in a hole
they walk around like they're crazy
stick'n eachother in a hazy madness
    well now

Can't feel my head my hate's so deep so deep inside
leave me to lay down and die

now picture this if you will
    life seems a little nill
and little did you know the extent of his woe
we are born blind and blind we remain
but some of us go insane
    well it's all a game
    well now,

Can't feel my head my hate's so deep so deep inside
leave me to lay down and die

Well now you know what lies around the bend no way of fortelling the end
and did'nt you know when the wind blows
it's just another way of feeling
    like you're really healing
    well I should be kneeling
    well now,

Can't feel my head my hate's so deep so deep inside
leave me to lay down and,

chorus: Hey! You man, what did you say to me
I'll give you one chance to flea
    this scene
I know it's not too late
but I can make it to the gate
well I know it's not too late
but I can make it to the gate
    for my
    dead friends dead friends
    my dead friends dead friends
    dead friends dead friends
my dead friends, my dead friends
    my dead friends
