Story Behind the Song
Motivation for the song is from a recent trip overseas on work commitments that made me realise what is is that you love and miss when you are not there to do it.
Was written on Christmas island, in a semi inebriated state, wishing I wasn't where I was(sounds depressing really, sorry).
Lyrics
I've found touch with myself,
I hope you can see that
I want to be special.
And I'm on my way.
What is it your are against?
Things have changed,
But trust me, I'm still the same.
I'm gonna be special,
I'm gonna make a stand
and nothing's gonna stop me.
Give me bohemia give me a cafe,
Give me the wron impression
and switch right back.
The largest time in my life
was when I saw you dancing
We smoked a cigar
and I sang, Oh I sang
Just to give you my attention
Give me bohemia give me a sound
Give me the wrong impression
and make your mind up from that.
Give me bohemia give me a sign,
Give me the wrong impression
I won't take it to heart
