	Story Behind the Song I was driving to church to lead worship one Sunday morning in September 2002 and my mind and heart were on those in churches (mine specifically but applies to all churches) who can't, don't know how to or don't wan't to enter into worship and praise of the Lord. I started a little praise song chorus I made up and the words to the first part just started as I prayed...it is a prayer, a simple cry to the congregation that to Enter In to praise is why we come to church...to worship, not potlucks, not out of sense of duty or wanting to be seen like the Pharisees on the street corner that Jesus spoke Lyrics "Enter In" Enter in……to His presence My prayer is……that's why you came To enter in……to His presence Lift your hands…..and praise His name For He is worthy Worthy of glory Worthy of honor Worthy of praise Copyright 2002 Steve McNutt
