	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song when I was feeling especially down because of a girl. I can't remember when I wrote the lyrics, but it was about halfway through January when I finished writing the music for it. I blame s.a.d. Lyrics faint glow of streetlight casts shadows on the snow it's peaceful here in the dark of night wrap me in the shadows let my thoughts run free the cold soothes my legs winter falls on my face this is so soft to be away from everything this is so hard to be away from you lick up my frozen scabs run your warm tongue across my lips purse my lips until they crack fill them in with your spit a shiver creeps across my back as your legs squeeze me tighter I never wake from this dream my body frozen under a shadow lick up my frozen scabs melt my skin with your tongue drag me into the street drag me into the light see my worn face see what you did to me I am so glad I am away from everything I can survive I am away from everyone
