Ecstacy, from Private Wars, was re-mixed and embellished by Denny Jiosa from Nashville TN. Very smooth indeed. |

Story Behind the Song
This song began life as a big-production soul number. We liked it much more stripped down to a jazz treatment. Denny put the tasty finishing touches to it. And the song really isn't about recreational drugs.
Lyrics
Ecstasy
words and music by Carole Nelson
Your face on the pillow is the
Sweetest smiling thing I've ever seen
The sunlight falls across you
And I wonder for a moment if this is all a dream
Then you realise I'm watching
And you give that sleepy I feel sexy kind of grin
I fall into your arms
And fall into the sweetness of our loving
Ecstasy, you give me
Ecstasy, you give me
Ecstasy, you give me
Ecstasy
There used to be a time
I thought love was easy come easy go
Freedom was my only rule
Commitment was a word I didn't know
Then I realised my life was flying by
And all I ever did was say goodbye
And you, you felt the same, you said
"What have we got to lose?
Let's give it a try.”
Ecstasy, you give me
Ecstasy, you give me
Ecstasy, you give me
Ecstasy
