Story Behind the Song
This song is about a time in my life when things were developing to nothing much at all. Somehow I knew these days would pass and that from it I may gain a better understanding of myself.
Lyrics
Started out about seventeen,
me and my baby had a better dream.
I bought a ten dollar hat,
I got a working card.
And the years roled by or so it seemed the factory closed and I can't believe that I'm,
still hanging out in this local bar.
Well there's such a fine line between wrong or right.
Looks like I'll be getting drunk tonight...
I gotta get up and try to get a job,
working ain't easy man, it's so rough.
trying to make all the ends meet at once.
Something will some up man I know it will, matbe pushing paper down at the old mill,
Instead of just blowing in the wind...
And there's such a fine line between wrong and right,
looks like I'll be getting dunk tonight,
and oh well...these are the g-hard days of my life.
my baby still loves me got to give her that,
she's all I have to never look back at those,
good old days when we were young...
and there's such a fine line between wrong or right,
looks like I'll be getting drunk tonight...
and oh well...these are the hard days of my life.
