Story Behind the Song
Several years ago, I wandered so far away from God. One day it was brought to my attention how much God was still working in my life. He had greatly blessed me with a wonderful family, a great Law Enforcement career, and a good comfortable home to live in. This brought me to the question of "Why has God been so good to me?", a person who has rebelled against the God who has only showed him love, Grace and Care. I know God can do what it takes to bring a wandering Christian to his knees, and that could have been the next step God may have taken. However, I am thankful that God's tender, loving mercy and care got my attention. The song "Why Me Lord" seems to best fit my great awakening.
