	Story Behind the Song This one was written in two stages, and out of order... The first verse, which I eventually turned into the second verse, was written back when I was in High school, it was originally about the culture shock I felt when I moved from Montreal, Canada to New York City. I finished it 10 years later when I was working as a video editor for CBS News in New York, cutting all the gore out of the video coming in from the 1st balkan war. I still have nightmares from what I saw.
