	Story Behind the Song Guest singer, Rob Keefe, co-wrote the song with Brigade Rosse. The Weathermen (also known as the Weather Underground) were a short-lived terrorist group faction of the Students for a Democratic Society. They formed in 1970 and began what they hoped would be a capaign of relentless and merciless terrorism on the United States to end capitalism. The young woman assembling their first bomb crossed the wrong wires and blew herself up. The rest of the members immediately went underground and surrendered years later to take up professional careers. Their plan for terrorism ended on its first day. Very pathetic.
