Lyrics
I walked into a circle of unequal gravitational pull, and I felt a white light across from black walls, their paint stripping away. I tried walking past the walls since the light jumped through it all, blacker layers stripping away. I tried to get close to them, they started to paint again. Blackest layers still stripped away. Stepping over fallen darkness, a measure of its lack of progress. I know, I'm just human - laughing at your cunning sharpness. You don't break me growing slowly; thick walls can't see, black strips falling. The light said, "Those walls will not change. Rock hard and no moving range." I smiled because I knew they hated me - hated me for being made of the flesh. I laughed in your face and I said, "I Will Defy." For everything that you've done, the only fear that you've caused is your own. And as I walked away I saw the indecisive light once again join with the impenetrable. Some try too hard, and some just give in.
