	Story Behind the Song I was driving up or down US 19 somewhere in north Florida and thinking about everything that I had given up for my music. The I figured, " Hell, it's too far back to shore...keep swimming." Lyrics I guess you think I'm a big star now funny I don't feel that way I always knew I had what it takes but I never knew the price I'd pay because you went on to find another someone to have and to hold something more than a telephone if I was in Nashville or on the road But, Baby, don't think I blame you for doing what you had to do but when you hear my songs on the radio do you know they're all about you? and I can afford lots of guitars now but my old one's the one I still play and I could have a lot of different women except the one I lost along the way I always remeber hearing lots of different people advise be careful of what you wish for you just might get a suprise I guess you think I'm a big star now funny I don't feel that way I always knew I had what it takes but I never knew the price I'd pay
