	Story Behind the Song It was early September, 2001. Maybe a week or two before 911. I was reading the Bible in the book of John and was amazed at how Jesus described the Holy Spirit dwelling within us as "Living Waters". I believe there is a tremendous power which we have barely begun to tap. Like a raging river, it has the power to change the face of the earth, power to cleanse away the garbage that can run deeply in our souls, and power to flood the world with the Gospel message. This song started out with a few chords strummed on my guitar, and some words I scratched on the back of a placemat. After working with the worship team at my church, it began to surge with life like the title of the song says. Since I never recorded it with the band, I used ACID Music to make the accompaniment tracks and recorded the guitar and vocals in my home office. This song has been used in only two churches, both in San Marcos, CA, but has consistently been well received by the leadership and congregation. Perhaps your church will enjoy it as well and begin to see the power of the Lord flowing through each one of us as Living Waters. Lyrics Verse 1: Living Waters run through my soul.
