Story Behind the Song
Some nice Latin and Spanish influece helped us put together this tune. Along with a disco groove provided by Steph of course.
We wrote this song in London while attending the MIA program at Fanshawe college. It only took one night to write and about 8 x 3 hour sessions to record and mix. It was a really good time for all involved. We used a 24 track anaolog tape recorder for the major part of the recording, but We also used a Yamaha A3000, some roland drum triggers, Logic Audio, a nice Sony series of effects (R7, M7, D7) as well as plenty more outboard gear supplied by the college.
Lyrics
Wait; I'm tired now;
This trip has taken a lot out of me.
Fog; is drifting by;
These dreams are closing in on me.
Wait, I can't keep up with you;
Wait, I'm falling behind.
Keep on Calling out to me;
Throught these mists of mine...
Seas of Glass, Trees of Mass;
Are shrouding our paths.
Trembling slowly, the ground below me is sliding away;
And I can't hold on now.
You're slipping;
Out of my grasp.
Stop, no more of this;
Confusion has taken over all I know.
You; Have since dissapeared;
Your shadow no longer hangs over me.
Wait, I can't up with you;
Wait, I'm falling behind;
Keep on ........
Bridge
Wait, I can't keep up with you
Through these mists of mine
Seas of glass........
Seas of glass.....
