	This is a song about a guy who just doesn't get it. It opens with a Zepplin like riff and then is carried into the verse with Motown R&B style guitar riff.

	Story Behind the Song This song started with my friend Eddie Jones coming up with the opening guitar riff. (He called it a funk riff) I put the 2nd guitar part over Eddies original riff and then put together the chorus. The title came from on old Archie Comic from the 50's that had an Elvis Parody. In the book Elvis was referred to as Pearly Gates. I looked at that name and started to sing..."I'd take a detour from the pearly gates of heaven, to stop for you love".
