    Story Behind the Song
Back in 2000 my good cousin had past away. He was with a bunch of friends and they all went swimming in a lake by his house.
Well my cousin didnt know how to swim good, but he was pressured into jumping in so he did.
He drowned trying to swim to an island in the middle of the lake..he was 18 years old.

The song is called "NO BRAKES" because I was about 10 years old and riding his bike on his farm in Ohio. I had never used hand brakes before on a bike so I didnt know how to stop and I crashed into the corn field. If I was with him at that lake I would have stopped him from jumping in.

    Lyrics
Weary eyed mystery, these broken words will heal me. Never chose my victim. This constant stare is, evil its meant to push you away.

If we are in this forever please make me believe. now I wanted to. Words were'nt meant to bother you told that to me, now I wanted to.

Lets sing it together, lets sing it for each other, and no one else.

This back drop of night leaves a silhouette in the light, Casts shadows forever.
Pacing yourself your no need to breath is catching up with me.

Flooded out and sinking down, this sour taste rests in my mouth. Water in my eyes when I saw you. This poison blood is running thin, diluted within, and I'm reminded that you are dead.
...and I'm reminded that you are dead.

Fearing death beneath the depths, wishing for this moment the breaks had worked..yeah
Lets sing it together, lets sing it for each other, and no one else.
This murky graves to shallow, but I know deep down.
Too shallow for your end, and ill see you again...
