	Story Behind the Song Clearside and Rob were out getting some food at a near by Chili's when they decided to go back to Clearside Studios and try out some new gear. Rob picked up a guitar and started playing and from there things elevated. We laid down the all the music and Clearside mixed and arranged it. About 3 month's later we had a song that had no lyrics. Rob came up with the concept of "Broken Promises" and I (Clearside) came up with the words. Rob wrote the first line of the first verse (which was later quoted "One of the best lines in the whole song") The music itself took about 5 hours to record about another 3 to mix and arrange. 5 more hours went into writing the lyrics and recoding them. another 4 went into mixing and polishing. It was fun and we both learned alot! Rob sang First verse, Clearside and Rob during the Chorus,Clearside sang the second verse.
