    Lyrics
Why people brag I do not know, it's probably just a show.
Make people think they are boss, mainly to hide their loss.
They show their scars and tell their tales, sometimes growing as big as whales.
With a story for every wound they bear, they treat them like medals they wear.
Well, i've got my story's I could tell, all about me in my hell.
Yet that is not the purpose of this story, to make you bask in my glory.
So on I will get with this recital, and tell you of many things that are vital.
My life i've lived very free, i've always held my own key.
My choices were mine, and mine alone, i've never been noones drone.
I learned many lessons early in life, many that brought me great strife.
But no matter what the trial was, i've never givin up, despite my flaws.
Truly I can say, that there is no other way.
You suck it up, get a stiff upper lip, regain your stance and get a tight grip.
For the ride is not finished, and you've not diminished.
Pick up your blade off the earth, don't stop fighting cause your army's dearth.
Hold your shield high, always close, and near your side.
Don't let it down, for friend or foe, don't trust what you claim to know.
For the wounds that I fear the worst, arent the ones coming headfirst.
They are the ones you cannot see, they'll come from friends, I guarantee.
Let there be very few which number three, the men you trust shall not be me.
God be one, and Jesus another, for the third don't trust your own brother.
Don't trust your mom, dont trust your dad, take my advice, or know why I'm mad.
the third of which you should trust, is yourself, although it sounds quite robust.
Try to show you my battle scars i might, yet not so easy when your not a knight.
My scars are invisible to the naked eye, but that doesnt mean you can deny.
They are as real as you or me, and never doubt what you cannot see.
For my scars are deeper and more severe, then any that may make you tear.
They are the ones that are left inside, the ones unseen yet I cannot hide.
For if we should learn from christ, let the value be high priced.
he had the ultimate love for the human race, and we showed him no grace.
He may have died so we could live, and we're faced with the choice of why to forgive.
The answer to that you will have to find on your own, yet the answer to me is known.
Forgive not because someone wants us to, forgive because satan doesnt want us to.
Why do you think you shouldnt forgive? Why harken an act that confines you to relive, not live?
We have the gift that satan has never had, although easy to do, it's really quite sad.
The scars I have are not caused by men, but by me chosing not to forgive them.
Don't end up like me, with scars you cant show, choose to forgive, choose to grow.
Enough story's of men are told in the stars, Please Dont add your own Battle Scars.
