Story Behind the Song
my girlfriend at the time,and myself were visiting her parents' house in AZ. we had been living in los angeles where there is hardly ever any real passionate thunderstorms. upon coming home from the evening's festivities it began to storm like crazy. us being us, we decided to go play in the rain. after a few minutes of rolling around in the street getting completely soaked and acting like little children, we noticed her entire family was under the porch just sitting there watching us like we were nuts. maybe we were.
actually that's just a cool anecdote. i wrote the song just because the words came to me, as i have always been fond of playing in the rain, however the story i just mentioned really happened, so it's almost as if the song manifested itself into my real life from my subconscious. cool.
