	Story Behind the Song i began writing this song when i lived in los angeles, or "la-land" as i prefer to refer to it. it has to do with the illusions of freedom in our lives as american citizens. Lyrics verse 1: i was standing in the middle of my life looking in. thinking "how did i get here"? i don't know the end of this song, but after all the conflict i'll be gone...before too long. feeling good don't feel so bad. chorus: they call it freedom, but it don't look right to me. what are we? they call it freedom, but it's pure hypocracy. what are we? but a blind humanity. verse 2: saturated in your color TV screen is the key that controls all of your misery. i can't say if i had my way that i'd want this role to play but it's okay...for a little while. feeling good don't feel so bad. chorus bridge: what will it take for you to see through yourself and find the beauty in the possibilities of your mind? it might be time to take a look inside, and understand that fear is an illusion of your pride. it seems as though we all got life to live. why should we pretend to be like "them"? verse 3: look around yourself and tell me what you see. where can it lead? to the end of humanity. it don't matter it's all the same. after all the bullshit we remain and life is just a game. feeling good don't feel so bad. chorus end
