Story Behind the Song
This song was written in a couple days in the spring of 1998. It's a song about watching what you do and paying attention to how you treat people, because it may come back to ahunt you. Not a religious preacher of any sort, Andrew chose the topic for the song because he liked the way the title lyric sounded rhythmically. He arranged "Dust" on a four-track cassette and passed it along un-transcribed to the group. The song grooves along with an irresistable backbeat under Andrew's soulful vocals.
