HEAVY guitars, HEAVY bass, HEAVY beat... this song is very heavy. But, it is a blues song, using the classic blues riff and the classic blues theme. |

Story Behind the Song
I wanted to do a blues song with just a distorted guitar. But I knew it would be lacking and I'd have to come up with something REALLY hard and heavy to play on the tradition blues riff. So, this is what I came up with.
Lyrics
She was a lonely girl
I was a lonely guy
We had nothing in common
Except that we wanted to die
I took her hand
We ran away
Don't know where to run to
Don't know where to stay
But I know that if I'm gonna die
I cannot lie, and I love you
Sometimes we talked
Sometimes we made love
Sometimes I wished
We had something to speak of
Life was hard
Love was rough
We had no boundaries
We just had the stuff
But when it all ends
Babe, I'll be your friend, 'cause I love you
I dress all black
But now I'm blue
Nobody loved me, baby
Quite as good as you
But things gotta change
Yes, you know it's true
We still have our lives ahead of us
And I still love you
May all the wheels turn
And may fires burn just like how I love you
