	Story Behind the Song The song "rights" basically says respect others choices though you may not choose them for your own life. Topics like these are often stated but not as often acted out. I get alot of heat for being Christian and straight edge. All i have to say is chill out and dont worry about my decisions. America is based on freedom, so in the same way you have the right to protest prayer in schools i have the right to be down with Christianity. My beliefs may or may not represent the rest of the band. Lyrics Take my words out of context. Try my beliefs and mock behind my back. Turn my head and walk away. You have your rights let me have mine. Why would I fail if i never have before? What makes you think you have the right to try my Lord?
