Story Behind the Song
Reap what you sow is about wars, money and sex scandals, power, fear and
corruption that have been part of human history since the beginning. There
have always been hypocritical religious leaders who contradict what the real
meaning of their religion represents, by their actions.. Most religions are
based around the same ethics, but many leaders have twisted things and
scape-goated others for their own benefit. I believe in the Universal Law
and that we reap what we sow, in other words, no one escapes one's karma.
Lyrics
Reap what we sow
Peace is a paradox when fear is what you're fed
Balance is love or ego, not the ignorance in your head
You hide in walls, you hide in lies, you hide in God to justify
But our souls, they'll be here forever
We always reap what we sow
Hate is human flaw and not a lubricant
You can fool the minds of weaker men, but your karma will pay the rent
You hide in walls, you hide in lies, you hide in God to justify
But our souls, they'll be here forever
We always reap what we sow
You've made your hell, like you have made your bed
Your mind is so far out there with no control
You live with hate and you create your fate
We always reap what we sow, that's all I know
(chorus)
