Story Behind the Song
Originally written many many years ago about a girl. The relationship just got weird, as they tend to do. This song has gone through many revisions. We had originally done it when some of us were in Kilt. Then it resurfaced when The Punchline came around. Now DDA does it and it is soooooooooooo much better.
As with the other songs from the new demo, the recording went pretty smoothly. We returned to Audio Images in Bradenton, FL to record with Mike Badalamenti as engineer. We had worked with Mike before on The Punchline album and on the previous DDA Demo.
After recording everyone, we decided to change some things, and went back into the studio to redo some vocals, guitar parts and add some more horn brightness. We came out with, what we think is, a fantastic song. If you have heard this live, you may notice a few changes, but that's the beauty of recording.
