	Story Behind the Song I don't know why I wrote this song, but it's probably the best thing I've ever written. It's all about cartoons. Lyrics I wish I could be in a cartoon I would visit Smurf village I would like to wear an old red cap too Just like Papa Smurf But what I want to know is Why does he wear red? Where's the momma smurf and do you think that she's dead? I would like to be in a cartoon I would drive the mystery machine I would like to meet that ol' Scooby Doo cuz a talkin' dog is rarely seen What I want to know is where do they all go? when the mystery is over do they all go home? I guess some things I will never know I'll never meet my hero space ghost I will never be in a cartoon but it doesn't hurt to make plans just in case I wish I could be in a cartoon I would help out ol' He-Man I would like to help that young She-Ra too (if you know what i mean) but what i want to know is how come no one ever dies? Why do they fight if everyone survives? I guess some things I will never know I'll never meet my hero space ghost I will never be in a cartoon but it doesn't hurt to make plans just in case
