This is an old song in my repertoire. I consider it one of my best opuses. Everytime we perform it we do it differently. There is an alternate version with some vocals in Russian on top (i need to mix it). The version presented here is an experiment in a new approach to the editing and use of improvised material. |

Story Behind the Song
This little song started as a miniature piece without any improvisation a few years back, and had a different name. I took it out of my big pile of music paper one day last year and decided to resurrect it.
Coitus Interruptus is the latin term for the primitive anti-conception practice of withdrawing the male sex organ from the female sex organ just before ejaculation.
We had just a couple of rehearsals before recording this. The session master lists some 25 different takes of different sections from the song. Only two takes were complete. It took me two weeks to edit it and reach a satisfactory result.
