This song is the title track to my latest release. It metaphorically compares maters of the heart w/ flying. Some times the flight is short, smoetimes the flight is long. Sometimes you land safly somtimes you crash and burn, and it's all a part of growing up, learning, success, failure. Lessons learned and wisdom come from the good AND bad. Is it so hard to see what the future holds for us, How we react to the world around us and how we cope w/ loss? It wouldn't seem so, but some things are better left a mistery. Better left unsaid. |

Story Behind the Song
This was the is song I wrote, when I moved out to California. My friend Luke and I had the Idea to put a drum mechine and bass along to my songs. So we through some stuff together and recorded it @ his home studio. He also recorded and produced my second single also "Never Unloved". The fact that two of my songs have "un" as a prefix is purely coincidental.
Lyrics
I turn my right Ear to the sky in hopes of finding what was left of plaines that land and crash about. When I was young I could have seen w/ my full (fool) heart what I'd become and what I've done.
I lay my hands upon the ground in search of somthing that is true, uncertainty, Sift though the night. When I grow old I will have known, smelt and touched the earths embrace and seen a light.
and It seems easyer unsaid, that It seems that everyone was dead. In a wreckage of a burning heart cuz they never thought they'd be apart.
And then,
in vain.
and then,
in vain.
and then,
in vain.
I lay my hands upon the ground in search of somthing that is true, uncertainty, sift through the night. When I was young I could have seen w/ my full (fool) heart, what I'd become and what I've done.
(Repeat Chorus)
