Story Behind the Song
Lyrics
Too many distractions possessing the thought patterns-
It seems
they made a monster over time.
While abortion could have kept it in realms of darkness,
out of emptiness I've called it my own.
They brought it to life like a father. I
love it to death, it's all I have.
The poor little bastard is in me now.
I can feel it cry.
I'm sitting at the station, waiting for the train to come
to start me on my journey--but it's late.
So in return I'll hang their heads up on my wall.
And now It's prideful,
because I'll steal the soul
between their legs
for nourishment
so it can grow.
Nine months pass, still aggravated with the train delay.
So I took it to Moriah's edge and dropped it down.
Out of love, I sent it back to the hands of darkness;
where it is safe-where there is better care.
I'm sorry,
it was the best solution.
Now I'm alone.
While watching the clouds
sail through the sky,
I hear the track...
It was here the whole time.
While hearing the sounds
and watching the clouds,
the journey is here now.
I should have seen the signs-
Again, it's too late now.
So I wave my goodbyes.
Now I can go.
I should have seen the signs,
watching the sky.
But now I'm gone...
