	Story Behind the Song This song was created on a Saturday morning after Bill Baldwin and his wife Daryl Marie were out seeing a friend's band in Ardmore, PA. Bill was at the bar getting drinks for the both of them when he turned around and caught Daryl making a Playful Glare in his direction. The rest of the song takes the two individuals (no longer Daryl & Bill) on a journey of self doubt and indecision. The two patrons of The Rusty Nail talk themselves out of possible true love and part without ever saying a word to each other. Bill and Daryl share writing credits on this ballad. A side note is that Bill and Steve met Kris Ballerini at the same bar. Kris was there checking out the place because her band at the time RoadTrip was going to audition in the near future. BridgeStreet had performed and was watching the following band because it had a female singer and they were looking for someone to record Playful Glare. They all started talking and realized they lived just a few miles from each other and the rest is BridgeStreet history.
