	Story Behind the Song My Family suffered many deaths this year- and two prior to thanksgiving. It seems the holidays can hold more then just cheer but grief as well. We gotta hold on to our families and our values and keep our heads up. They really ain't gone- they just deep inside us. I blew in the studio (smoke in da shoppe) and gettin my vocal parts (singin) done was a b*tch!! We spent about three hours messin with the harmonizer and effects and then about 8 takes till I was satisfied with the feel for it!! The rhymez took me approximately 20 minutes per verse so about an hour all together for both verses, I am a perfectionist especially for my own stuff and that probably makes things harder then they need be!! Most of my songs (minus 5 of em) where written in my mothers house in Lancaster Pa. The Soulja been through a hellish 2 year period and right now is temporarily livin at his mom's pad!! Hey I said Temporarily!! My mom's however loves it and after listening to the final version of "they ain't gone" she had tears streamin down her face, that was the bets feeling i ever had and the greatest compliment of my cAreer!!!
