	This track blends the unusual time signatures and energy of guitar-based jazz-fusion with ambient pads and strings to create an evocative but modern sound.

	Story Behind the Song A short ambient intro leads into the first fast section. The main themes and riffs are driven along by my very old Fender Stratocaster and my very new Gibson Les Paul guitars backed by drums, bass and sampled cellos. In contrast the middle section is slower paced and more ambient. The track took 3 months to complete and grew in length because I was trying out new ideas and wanted each part of the track to have time to develop. I mixed the track to create a misty dark age/New Age landscape using plenty of stereo width and depth and only light compression to retain dynamic range.
