	Story Behind the Song This song came quickly one night doing what I generally do at 2:00 in the morning: not sleep. I was playing with an open D tuning on the guitar and using a basic country blues picking. I had a couple of ideas about seasonal change and mood, not to mention night and insomnia, that I was hoping to fit into a song somewhere when this presented itself as the final resting place for these ideas.
