Lyrics
[J-rod]
Let’s see… we got Kwanzaa, Christmas, the new year
And Chanukah, I wanna just give a shout out to all of ya’
So many cultures and traditions in the system
There’s a reason to celebrate in any religion
That I’m given, we about to be spittin’ the story
Of each holiday to perfection—past, future or present
We be reppin’ every celebration in December nationwide
So remember, we gon’ mix it all in like a blender
Here to send ya’ the messages that we be relayin’
The rest is just stressed by us—listen to what they be sayin’
We displayin’ the idea of happiness all the days
All the ways that we’re showin’ this—Happy HOLIDAYZ
[Chorus]
Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Years…
5 Min-it Warnin, we got our whole crew here
These days, wishin’ you joy and praise
We just wanna say “Happy holidayz!” [2x]
[Triskit]
Lights of Chanukah, lights of happiness
Joyful times for every one of us
We remember ancient lights
Shining through eight days and nights
Gifts of bound
Watch the dradle spin around…
[Ice]
Christmas—the birthday of Jesus
The star helped the wise men see
Santa Claus and his eight reindeer
Comin’ here for you and me
The wise men brought lots of gifts
Now I have presents under my tree
[Chorus [2x]]
[Li’Luda]
Kwanzaa! Seven days, let’s light our mishumaa
Red, black and green; let’s put ‘em in our kinara
I’m a ear of corn, let me eat my Benne cake
We’re gonna get zawadi and it’s all homemade
“First Fruits”—let’s get back to our roots
Like I was going to Africa in my tight boots
[Lil’ JJ]
2002—I hate it, let’s debate it
I can’t believe I waited this long in my life
Today—2002 is almost over
See, let’s talk about New Years, the time’s near
We about to run to Times Square to watch the ball drop
It hits the bottom and it all stops
[Chorus [2x]]
