	Story Behind the Song The song is about contemplating death and the aftermath. It is from the viewpoint of the dead. I wrote and recorded it in about six hours using Magix computer software. I play an Ovation Celebrity and a Gibson flying 'V'using a Marshall AVT100 amp and a midi keyboard for the rest. Lyrics All this shifting and drifting through the misty sands of time. And the clinging and the bringing of things that once were mine. All the powers and the showers and the clock has slapped the hands of time. And I see that, that the meaning that I had once has been left behind. All I've got now is this spot now, that's the spot that I occupy. And the meaning that was teeming is now steaming in that sponge of mine. Open doors and sweep the floors and dust the corners of my mind. All I see now is a dust cloud and I know it's much too loud. Well it's come now and I'm done now... But I was here. And the steaming, all that meaning and the dreaming has disappeared. Sit beside me help to guide me coincide we all must clear. And I will travel on.
