	Story Behind the Song This was based on a nice major chord progression that I wrote, and the lyrics were added later. This is the second version that I recorded. I slowed it down and added a duet throughout. Lisa Housman added just the right kind of vocals. Lyrics I'm going where they're on country time, and all the clocks are stopped at five. I'm gonna go where I can spend the day just watching clouds go by. I'm gonna go where the only sound is the whispering of the leaves, And all of god's creatures singing their secret songs. I'm gonna go where the sun is shining, and where the sky is ten miles wide. I'm gonna go where the eagle flies, and the mountains touch the sky. I'm gonna go where the people still revere the land, And the buffalo still roam. I'm gonna get in my car and drive, until I get to where I'm going. Then I'll sit in my rocking chair and watch the sun go down. And when the night falls I'll look up and see, for the very first time, A billion stars in the sky. Let 'em shine! Let 'em shine!
