Story Behind the Song
Hebriana Alainentalo was born in Liviöjärvi, Lapland, in northenmost Sweden, bordering Finland. She gives exhibits in Sweden and the U.S.A. She is a visual artist and a vocal performer of utter originality and the outmost talent.
Her voice wells up out of the Center of Existence, from where she expresses the humus layers and the rock in our ancient past, the mute desolation of minerals and basic elements. Through her the rocks can cry, the moraine clatter, the glacial periods crack and wrestle, and the voice out of the collective unconscious, from the dwelling place of archetypes and categorical imperatives, which is the rendezvous of mountains and wind, tells tales about the slow growth of mycelium deep beneath the leaves, under the factory smokestacks standing like endless stabs along the horizons. Through the overtones of the Alainentalo voice swallows fly in precipitous kamikaze calligraphies over the reeds of the lakelands, and consciousness hovers weightless above the surface of the water. Granite rock and Cumulus cloud; on that stage the Existence-Maximized Child appears - the rest is World History. All places are here! All times are now!
