	This is definitely the most complex song I've recorded so far and it really captures the sound/style I'm going for songwriting wise. It features a number of sections using complex time signatures and rhythms however they always blend back into simple melodic ideas and grooves. After a few listens I hope you can hear how the different sections flow into and relate to each other. From the forthcoming double CD also titled 'Perception'. 	Story Behind the Song Perception was composed and recorded in my home studio. It was done in two sections...the first minute of the song was completed first and then the next 7.5 minutes just flowed on. I recorded all of the instruments minus the guitars first and then added the guitar parts last. The whole process took a couple of weeks.
