	Story Behind the Song This song came to me in a dream - the story line, the melody, the arrangement, everything. I woke up and it was there. It was recorded that morning in one take. Only after listening to it a few times did I realize its significance and understand how deeply some demons lie. The song is this: A man checks into a clinic seeking peace and freedom from the ordinary-everyday but overwhelming pressures of his life. He receives 'treatment' and as a result is left to only perceive the world. He is aware of things around him but has been stripped of emotion and feelings for/about them. In his head he hears only the sound of rain. Apparently, doctors have deemed a long stay important to his health. They give him a room overlooking the WTC in New York City and there he sits peacefully for days on end without a thought to cross his mind. Tragic events transpire before him yet he feels nothing.
