	Story Behind the Song I volunteered to accompany a fellow student for her senior recital, which included a J.S. Bach Flute and Harpsichord Sonata. I had known these pieces earlier, but performing them for an exacting crowd at USC made the study more intense. I was working on my own sonata at the time, and the flutist agreed to play my work on several recitals in lieu of paying me for the work I had done on hers.
