Heavy Industrial ala Ministry, Godflesh, Pitchshifter, etc. This song kills, not dancey but brutal... The main thing i DONT like about this version, is all the samples have been chopped out to meet there guidlines here, which is a pain cuz they werent even really samples... |

Story Behind the Song
The entire new Viktim CD As Love Turns Grey, is all fueled by my heartache following an ending of an 8 year Relationship. I am burying myself in music, and am thankfully making the best music of my career. Atleast something good is coming out of this hurt.
This is a different version than the one on the cd, this one has all the samples chopped out, to meet mp3.com's guidelines,
Lyrics
Look at me now, be a man
all things that you cant stand
Look at me now, lookin clear
you can really start to see her
fallen now, to the side
what happened to your bride
things they were, once so bright
they turned dark, over night
Feel i tnow as she starts to run
lookin out gor some other fun
nightfall it mourns as it breaks
and all i wanted was once last taste
(so youre left alone, what did you expect?
Think you’d have it all, thats what you dreamt...)
As i wait, loves turns to hate
and my hunger i cannot sate
drive around tears in my eyes
for the time i realize,
make it, try to make sense
nobody ever seems to lend
itslef to this in this hate
i wonder if it is too late
i could reach out now for your light
but i feel the fright
i just know in mine
that i reject
and theres nothing left
(so youre left alone, what did you expect?
Think you’d have it all, thats what you dreamt...)
and who said you could dream?
