This song was built around a guitar jam stumbled upon by Michael Dooley and Mark Haas. A story was sung (mumbled and shrieked), we added some noise and here it is. |

Story Behind the Song
This was a fun recording built around a guitar jam Mark and I were messing around with. We recorded the jam and when Derek got home that night we finished it off by making it a song about one of our skateboarding adventures in downtown Denver. To sum the story up, Derek and I went skateboarding down by Union Station and there is a giant mast (looks like the mast of a ship, which is a walkway over the train tracks. WE were just goofing around a then this car took a turn onto a street in front of where we stood. The street was not a street. It was a bunch of train tracks and the car was high centered. Derek and I, being the philanthropists that we are, helped the poor bastards (they were wasted) by helping them push their car back onto the pavement. It was strange. Some transit authority or security guy saw what was happening and just said "get that car off of the tracks," We did. The car of drunk men went off and away. The security guy scolded Derek and I briefly about not noticing the "NO SKATEBOARDING" signs. We said sorry and went home. It made me feel like a little kid and it was great. miked
