	Story Behind the Song I think this song tends to be misunderstood by some as an attack on Christmas in some way, but that is far from the truth. What the song is really about is my own personal experiences that did happen to occur around christmas, and in a larger sense it is about how although Christmas can bring great joy, it can also bring out the sadness that is already inside of us, and make it more obvious somtimes. More than anything else the song is supposed to be an unconventional approach to the traditional christmas experience, and make the listener think more perhaps than most you hear on the radio. Lyrics She woke up this morning it was Christmas day. Wondered where she'd been and why she didnt stay. Christmas is not all that special to her when all she does with her family is shout anymore. The presents are wrapped up and under the tree. They open them up but none of them hold a key. To stop her from spinning more out of control. Everytime she crashes it shoves me down on the floor.
