	Story Behind the Song Nothing too exceptional behind the story. Wrote for a girl I liked. Had many reasons for not reciprocating the feelings. Chacnes are she just flat out didn't like in me in that way, and I was too self-absorbed to admit that, so I made a bunch of other reasons why. Maybe I'm right though. Who knows. I wasn't joking when I said she was a mystery. The truth is slightly bent for the sake of the song though. I won't say how, but yeah it's bent. I recorded this by myself, on my mac powerbook g4, hence the loudly unsubtle lo-fi quality. I don't have access to a lot of good studio equipment. So if the lo fi sound bothers you, I apolgize. Lyrics "I don't know," looking at her feet Madeline answers the counselor See, Madeline, she's a mystery. She herself never found her. Plopped on the couch, watching MTV or spelunking the GAP online store. She said "I am just what you see. There's not too much more. No there's not too much more."
