	Story Behind the Song I was reading "The Solace of Open Spaces" when I wrote this. It's a short story about the people who live in Wyoming and how they're the last real cowboys in a sense and that got me thinking country song.. the lyrics really have nothing to do with that story at all and are about something else entirely, but nonetheless that's how it all came about. Lyrics you know I know some things about the world she's got a big fat neck that's circled in fake pearls pinching my cheek before she's throwing me in the street but she's all I got right now you know I know some things about the past he's a mean old drunk that always wears a mask he fucked up my lawn never has any pants on but he's all I got right now but wait wait wait it'll be okay if I don't get it right today is still one more way but you won't even try you know I know some things about this life he's a lonely fag that's cheatin on his wife he'll fix you he'll fix me he'll make fun of everyone he meets but he's all I got right now
