	Story Behind the Song I decided to begin writing in the techno genre for two principle reasons: firstly on hearing the work of artists such as Juno Reactor & Paul Oakenfold; and secondly on discovering the potential for music creation made possible by computer software currently available to artists. Alpha Centauri was written at home on the Fruity Loops program, and was finished on and off between other projects over a period of about six months. The song is mainly inspired by my interest in science fiction themes, the cosmos in generaland, and - of course - techno.
